Photo-Quest: Part Deux!

After the Leeds City Museum, we headed to the Royal Armouries to collect some more resources. Here's some more photos that I took and quite like! :D

Naturally at a place called the Royal Armouries, there is a lot of armour! This piece specifically had a lot of detailing and looked great. I don't think I could draw something this detailed, but it is still useful nonetheless.

Again, I really like the detailing in this helmet, armour is really good for characters who are heroes or vilains, as it is usual large, over the top and over powering.

This survival knife reminded me of cheesy action movies! I like how angular this knife is and would be pretty easy to replicate, though this is a more modern style weapon for the classical ideas I have in my head.

These pistols on the other hand would fit a Victorian era character much better. I like how the guns are practically pieces of art, wiht lots of details and decorations.

I like the idea of shield bearing complex insignias and drawings, it helps develop a character further who would often be covered in armour.

I really like the pattern on this sheathe, it is simple yet complex at the same time. I may use patterns similar to this when developing some characters.

I just love how ridiculous some of these guns are! I would suit perfectly with a character set in a older time but eccentric and crazy!

I liked the pose that these mannequins were in, also I found it pretty interesting to see a piece of armour in pure white.
